For fans, the on-the-field performance of their favorite teams in these critical games will likely produce nervous tension and stomachaches. Copious amounts of moisture surging northward from the Gulf of Mexico will turn the annual Auburn-Alabama Iron Bowl into our FumbleFest of the Week. Rain, heavy at times, could fall all day in Tuscaloosa.
In nearby Tallahassee, a 40% chance of thundershowers will be in the forecast for Florida at Florida State.
Up the road in Athens, another ACC-SEC rivalry will be rainy as Georgia Tech and Georgia play amidst an 80% chance of showers.
On the left coast, cool damp and foggy conditions will once again plague the Civil War between Oregon at Oregon State
Cold and somewhat breezy conditions will be in place for the Oklahoma - Oklahoma State Bedlam match in Stillwater.
