The last full weekend of regular season college football games has provided a weather map full of cool temperatures that are expected at this time of year, but thankfully, very little in the way of adverse weather that would make game watching miserable for fans.
The focus this week will not be on weather, but on a Holy War, an Axe, an Apple Cup, a Bronze Boot, an Old Oaken Bucket, a Land Grant Trophy, the River City Trophy, the Sweet Sioux Tomahawk, an Old Mountain Jug, the Divide Trophy, the Dakota Marker, the Sawhorse Dollar, the Trustee Cup, and something called Floyd of Rosedale.
With all of these trophies to commemorate rivalry games this week, it shocks me that the universities with top-ranked meteorology programs have not met on the gridiron for the Silver Lightning Bolt, the Golden Wind Vane, a Twister Trophy, or the Coriolis Cup.
As such, this week's Game Day Radar will pass on finding a Fumblefest, and use the opportunity to remind you that it only takes about 30 seconds to join in the Fox Weather fun.
