The Game Day Radar crew predicts nearly perfect weather for just about every sporting event this weekend! The middle of October has brought a quiet period with most of the country dominated by high pressure and seasonal temperatures. The storm system off the Atlantic coast should be far enough offshore to not have any bearing on the east coast NCAA games on Saturday. The only potential fly in the ointment is the 50% chance of light rain showers in Pullman, Wash for USC at Washington State. The gut feeling here though is that this game will be mostly rain free.
MLB
No need for a weather forecast for Game 6! The ALCS is now indoors for the duration. Temperatures inside The Trop should be 74F at game time with a wind dependent upon which way the maintenance crew set the air conditioning vents. Your walk to the ballpark should be lovely with temperatures near 80F and north winds.
The beautiful weather this weekend should provide ample opportunities for everything from outdoor Halloween decorating to accomplishing all of those items on the "honey-do" list. If plumbing is on your weekend list of chores, the weather in Holland, Ohio will be absolutely undebateable, with low temperatures near 40F and high temperatures near 60F.
Have a geat weekend, and don't forget to check back for Nick's blog on the weather for the NFL games on Sunday!
